parts, distributors, original twin exhaust tip, dash cap etc. I have the original goodyear polyglass spare. I have Manta badge for trunk lid but it needs to be installed, also it needs plastic clips to install driver side chrome fender trim. Mileage shows a little over 80,200 not sure if actual or not. Seats are ok but will need new foam as the springs are coming up through. A few minor paint chips on edges of hood/cowl area.īlack interior is original and in good overall condition, headliner is excellent, door panels good, dash is cracked but I have another dash that will go with the car. Overall paint is ok, no trim was removed on the respray so a little over spray is present but is a very presentable driver. I have pictures of the areas where there are dings/dents in paint. The car was resprayed the original color some years ago and NO rust is present other than the one noted area. Very rust free car except for one spot, the driver side rear lower fender area (pics included) everything else is very rust free. Up for Auction is my 1972 Flame red (Orange) Opel Manta, original California blue plate car. customers had the option of the Manta Rallye that kicked thing up a notch: CLICK FOR DETAILS: 1972 Opel Manta Rallye on eBay Just as the Opel GT was a 3/4 scale Corvette, Opel had a mini muscle car too in the Manta, and U.S. So to redeem myself, instead of owning one of them, I’d probably sport for a much more rare scaled down model from their European cousin, Opel. The GTO Judge, the Chevelle SS, the Nova SS – they just look right in a weird and slightly disturbing way. I’m not even sure why, but some of those late 60s/early 70s GM muscle cars just look…well, cool to me. Now, I realize that admitting the problem is the first step towards rectifying the issue, but there’s this nagging feeling in the back of my mind that it won’t go away. I actually like the third generation early 1970s Chevrolet Nova. I’d day fetish is a really strong word, but I’m not sure how else to describe it, because admitting it makes me feel a bit dirty.
